Unlike most personality
systems, the Enneagram, a dynamic and uncannily accurate
personality model, offers organizations the change technology
needed to thrive in today's rapidly changing workplace. Transform
facilitates the learning and integration of the Enneagram
model into the organization's culture creating highly functional
and effective leaders, work teams and employees.
About the Enneagram
- The Enneagram is a profiling system that reveals
personal strengths as well as blinding barriers to success.
Once discovered, individuals can learn to build on their
strengths and overcome their personal barriers.
- Specifically, the Enneagram allows individuals to better understand their
core motivations and in-grained patterns of thinking, behaving and feeling.
- Unlike other personality profiling systems such as Myers-Briggs, DISC,
and The Big Five, which describe or predict behavior, the Enneagram reveals the
core motivations that drive behavior.
- The Enneagram reveals nine different “lenses”—or ways
of interpreting the world in which we live. Through our own lens, we interpret
situations, events, encounters, and experiences. Therefore, we only “see” one-ninth
of the truth, as there are eight other ways to view the same situation.
- In addition to better understanding ourselves, the Enneagram
depersonalizes our perceptions of other individuals in
the workplace, allowing us to better
understand the intentions and behavior of others. This results in:
- productive dialogue that gets to the issues at hand
in a non-threatening, non-defensive manner
- skills that help team members ask questions rather
than assume another’s
position or intention
- increased accountability by taking responsibility
for his/her point of view, reactions, and actions
- improved relationships, morale, and commitment to
each other and the organization
Used in the workplace, the Enneagram significantly improves:
leadership, communication, team building, time management,
client relationships, conflict resolution, negotiation, and
stress management.
